In this article we will go over an issue that happened with a previous user. This issue was reported by a few different users and seems to be a common issue that can quickly be solved.
Here is the report from the user:
Hi there, I was able to register the app and direct it to the directory for the sounds. However when I load it as a plugin, it immediately crashes. Logic offers the option to either Recover the plugin or quit. If I select Recover, Panda tries to load but all I get is a low hum sound. I’ve reloaded Logic numerous times, no change in the issue. Any suggestions?
After running multiple testes and reviewing the Logic crash log it seems the solution was as simple as re-downloading and re-locating the samples folder.
I deleted and reinstalled the library (downloaded a fresh version). Now it seems to be working fine.
The root cause could have come from multiple issues with the sample folder including:
- Folder did not properly and fully download the first time
- Folder was not located in Lofi Panda correctly
- Folder was re-named or moved after linking inside of Lofi Panda
- Logic was cacheing and not correctly locating the Lofi Panda samples folder
