Installer Failing On Mac
If you encounter an “Install Failed” message on your Mac, it could be due to:
- Insufficient Disk Space: Ensure your Mac has at least 3GB of free space available to run the installer.
- Memory Overload: Avoid running the installer when your Mac is overloaded on memory. Restart your Mac before installing to clear any excessive memory usage.
- Corrupted or Incomplete Download: If the installer did not fully download or was corrupted during download, try downloading it again. Consider using a different browser, especially if your current browser has blockers activated.
Installer Issues On Older Versions of macOS
Mac OS installers were developed and signed on macOS Ventura. In rare cases older macOS versions may prevent you from opening your package. It’s best to update your macOS to the latest version to ensure a smooth installation process. However, we understand that many users like working on older systems. In that case follow these instructions.
Troubleshoot Option One:
Right click on the package installer and click ‘open’
This should force open the installer if you were receiving an error when trying to open the package. If this does not solve your issue move to the next option below.
Troubleshoot Option Two:
If the installer is still not working you will need to manually install the files. Email [email protected] and we will provide the individual files along with installation instructions. To help us better pin-point root issues please also include what macOS version you are trying to open the package on.
