How We Created This Neo Soul MIDI Pack
Neo soul chords need to feel smooth, warm, and emotional. For this free neo soul MIDI pack, we put together a small collection of soulful chord progressions designed to help producers start new ideas fast without getting stuck writing from scratch.
We focused on progressions with jazzy movement, warm voicings, and the type of rich chord changes often heard in neo soul, R&B, gospel-inspired beats, lofi, and soulful hip hop. Each MIDI file gives you a musical starting point that you can drag into your DAW, change the key, edit the notes, or build a full melody around.
You can use these MIDIs with your favorite piano, Rhodes, electric piano, synth, guitar, or pad sounds to create your own unique vibe.
